1. About Trusted Driver
Trusted Driver operates an online marketplace that connects motor dealers and vehicle owners ("Dealers") with self-employed drivers and transport companies ("Drivers") for the movement of vehicles across the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account. Drivers must hold a valid UK driving licence and appropriate trade or hire-and-reward insurance for every job accepted.
3. Marketplace role
Trusted Driver is not a party to the contract of carriage between a Dealer and a Driver. We facilitate matching, communication, tracking, and (where applicable) payments, but the underlying transport service is provided by the Driver to the Dealer directly.
4. Jobs, pricing & payments
Dealers post jobs with collection and delivery details. Drivers accept fixed-price jobs or submit bids. Once a job is accepted, both parties are committed to performing it in line with the agreed terms. Platform fees, payouts, and refund handling are described on the Pricing page and in your dashboard.
5. Conduct & verification
You agree not to misuse the platform, circumvent fees, share login credentials, or upload fraudulent documents. We may verify your identity, licence, and insurance, and may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or pose a risk to other users.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trusted Driver is not liable for loss, damage, delay, or non-performance of any transport job arranged through the platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or via the platform. Continued use of Trusted Driver after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
